Kenny Hoopla & Lucien Parker are two of my favorite artists currently living in Wisconsin, and they just dropped a most beautiful new joint entitled “MESS//.”
Kenny and Lucien both have fantastic voices, so them making a track together is an absolute treat. This is that midwest hip-hop. There is a definitive sound for east and west coast hip-hop music, and to me, this is what midwest hip-hop is. Very feelings-oriented. If you live in Milwaukee or in the surrounding area, you can actually catch both of these artists performing at a show we’re throwing with Strange Oasis Entertainment and Badmath on 11/19 at the Cactus Club in Milwaukee. Maybe we’ll be the first to hear this song live. Who knows? Check it out below.
