Chicago’s King Louie was interviewed by Don Lemon of CNN to discuss the recent life changing violent situation that happened to him, & how that same violence is affecting his city.
King Louie was shot at 22 times leaving a friends house a week ago on December 23rd. He was hit seven times, and three of those bullets (one in his head, & two in his chest) still remain in his body. Not many people survive after taking a bullet to the head, but fortunately Louie’s fate was different. When asked about the violence in his city, Louie responded that “The devil’s working overtime in Chicago”. He’s made music encouraging the youth to abandon guns and resort to other positive avenues in life and is working with the organization Chicago Ideas. We’re glad to see King Louie is well and on the road to recovery. Watch the full interview below.
