Today, King Rosè of Kool Klux Klan delivers his free debut album, titled Pushing My Luck. Laced with quality production, he also enlists some quality features in Miles Meraki, Cal Rips & others, adding up for a barrel full of jams. Rosè is working his way up the ladder in the DMV underground scene, and it’s the honesty and realness of his lyrics that are his signature in my opinion. He has the ability to tell a story with his lyrics while packaging the song + production in such a way that people not only enjoy it sonically, but also appreciate its deeper, lyrical level. There are layers to his music, and you truly have to give it a few spins before you really get the whole idea of what he’s talking about.
Listen to Pushing My Luck below & enjoy. A few of my favorites are SZA, Scressin & Parallels.
