Miami native Kodak Black has been in and out of trouble with the law since before he became a household name, and while he had been trying to clean up his act, rumors started swirling last night when a tweet saying he had been sentenced to three years went viral, without any actual evidence supporting it.

Now, this doesn’t mean that Kodak isn’t in hot water and won’t be spending any time behind bars, but jeeeeeeez, can we let the kid actually have his day in court before we jump the gun? I just checked out the Broward County Sheriff’s Office website (which is updated every 15 minutes), and his charge status still reads as “pending trial.”
Unless you can sentence someone without trying them, this is just another hoax from a small-time publication trying to get some attention. Grow up, and stop trying to capitalize off of someone else’s problems.
