Knoxville, Tennessee reps L0ST B0YS are known for mashing eclectic sounds and flavors together to deliver witty and memorable tracks, and that has never been more apparent than on their first official single titled “Korean Hard Drive.” Featuring some absolutely haunting production from EVRGRNS, the track features two of the four members off of the L0ST B0YS roster. Thelodaboi (formerly known as Thelo-Que) and Savedthehills share the space over this airy, yet well defined production that could not be more appropriate for its Sunday release. Dissonant keys set the backdrop as Thelo starts it off, “All of L0ST TAPES is saved on a Korean Hard Drive.” As he navigates through rhymes about being too stoned to differentiate between blood and ketchup, and learning the proper dosage when munching on some fungi, the mood is ever so apparent. By the time he gets into the hook you might even find yourself singing along off-key. Savedthehills delivers a second verse that feels like it’s being filtered through a drug filled haze, and just like that the track is over.
