Rolling Loud Festival has just debuted its first-ever Bay Area section of the festival this weekend. Last night, a video emerged online of a group of men believed to be A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s entourage, jumping and beating Lil B backstage at the festival. The video shows upwards of 10 individuals swinging on Lil B and kicking him while he was down. Although it wasn’t shown on camera that PNB Rock was also swinging on the BasedGod, he can be clearly seen in the footage among the entourage.
After Lil B made a comment a few months back claiming that A Boogie’s music had a slight resemblance to that of Def Loaf’s it seems as though the Bronx rapper thought it’d be fit to serve some retaliation to those comments. After the incident, Lil B took to Twitter to expose the alleged culprits of the assault and claim that he still loves all those who are involved and forgives them, and will not retaliate. Lil B also went on to take the stage after the incident and reveal what happened to the crowd, as well as state that because the group stole his laptop, he would consequently not be able to perform.
Since then, Rolling Loud has released a statement saying that: “Due to security concerns, PNB Rock will not be performing his scheduled set for today.” The festival has replaced PNB’s set with Bay Area’s own, Kreayshawn. Watch the video of the altercation below, and stay tuned for more details.
UPDATE:
PNB rock will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud today. Please welcome Bay Area’s own @KREAYSHAWN to take his place!
