While in South Florida for Young Money’s showcase at the Red Bull Guest House, Weezy was the last to hit the stage for an all-day pool party event that featured DJ sets by Questlove, Hudson Mohawke, and Mannie Fresh.
Rightfully so, Mannie also got up on stage during Wayne’s set, paying homage to the good Cash Money days.
Wayne performed a series of records from his latest mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait 2, as well as “Mrs. Officer” and a few other classics. He also confirmed that his forthcoming album, Free Weezy Album, is on the way. He even handed a few T-shirts, designed by Trukfit.
