With Lil Wayne currently in his legal battle with Cash Money (and his “father” Birdman), it seems that it will take a bit of time before Tha Carter V sees the light of day. However, this legal battle will not stop Weezy from putting out music on his own. After releasing his highly acclaimed Sorry 4 the Wait 2, early this morning DJ Drama has hinted at the release of his Dedication 6 mixtape.
Via his Instagram, DJ Drama posted a picture of himself, Wayne, and Mack Maine in the studio, with the caption “Sorry 4 the Wait 2. Carter V. Dedication 6″ –most likely meaning that the Dedication 6 will be released after Tha Carter V. The sixth installment of the highly-acclaimed Dedication series between Wayne and Drama could see the public eye soon enough, depending on the issues between Birdman and Wayne. I’ll keep ya posted.
