After six years, Lil Wayne is officially free to release his long-awaited album, Tha Carter V. For the longest, Birdman and Wayne have been in legal battle for the rights to release Tha Carter V, a deal that also involved Drake, Nicki Minaj and many producers. Well today, reports have surfaced that Weezy will be able to release his new album whenever he feels like it, along with officially leaving Ca$h Money Records. No word on when he plans on releasing the upcoming project, but we’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned for more updates.
