Believe it or not there’s only been a few moments in rap where artists have consistently dropped entire projects for months at a time, all the while juggling shows and releasing singles and videos along the way. Lil Xelly now holds the title. He jumped into spotlight last winter when he released his infamous 100-track tape, More Xelly, and has released at least two tapes every month since then. Needless to say, all of this was only a build up to a major album, and late last the night, the Rockville star gave us what we’ve all been waiting for. Brenda Had A Baby is his most polished work to date, and everything from the production to his seriousness and bravado on every track stands out and demands for your attention.
