Two maestros from The Red Mirror, Kellbender and Fifty Grand provide Lil Xelly with some eerie distortion entitled “Makeover.” Fifty‘s instrumentation reminds me of a demented jack in the box, utilizing trance-inducing sounds to hypnotize his listeners. Kell‘s production style is just as diverse as Fifty‘s, but he puts his own earth-shattering twist on things.
Xelly has made enormous strides with not only his cadences, but his work ethic hasn’t dwindled for sometime now. In the midst of this monsoon of music, you have to be consistent and standout from the crowd. All three of these cats do that in a fantastic manner and this is only the beginning.
