D.C. has long been one of our favorite hotbeds for new music, and one of the area’s longtime pillars is back after a lengthy hiatus.
Keyari. (formerly known to the Chiefers audience as King Rosè) breaks his silence with a brand-new record titled “Not The Type.” Produced by fellow DMV music maker Mekile, Keyari. glides across the silky, synth-driven production, showing off his chops as both a singer and rapper. Overall it’s a great introduction to him if you weren’t previously familiar, or a pleasant surprise for fans that have been waiting in the wings for new music.
