Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer has taken aim at legendary Speed Weed delivery service. Along with the compliant, he says the delivery service is acting outside 2013’s voter-approved Proposition D, which essentially allows a small number of startups to exist.

The City Attorney’s office is asking for a judge to grant an injunction against SpeedWeed, arguing that any delivery service is illegal under Prop D.

“Proposition D, approved by the voters in 2013, does not allow medical marijuana to be commercially delivered,” Feuer said.

In late 2014, another delivery service, Nestdrop, was shut down by a judge after the City Attorney’s filed the same request, so it doesn’t look good for the folks over at SpeedWeed. Stay tuned for more details and stay chiefin’ stoners.
