If I’m being transparent; I find myself listening to lyrical rap less and less as time goes on, but LOS KEMET is one of the few reigniting the sub-genre in today’s hip-hop scene, and his new single F&N [Fuckery and Noise] has to be one of my favorites from the young artist so far.
With roots stemming from Jackson, MI, LOS KEMET’s southern cadence pays homage to the scene that came before him but he continues to expand and elevate its sound with each release. The release was also paired with an eye-catching visual shot by Thomas G and co-directed by LOS KEMET.
LOS KEMET has been taking his wins in stride since the release of his impressive debut LP Got Drunk For The Most High, and if F&N is any sign of what’s to come I can’t wait to see what’s next from the budding artist.
