It’s a national holiday whenever my President Lucki drops a song. He’s single-handedly been 70% of my Instagram captions for the past 4 years, but that’s beside the point. Lucki and Working On Dying producer F1lthy dropped “NEPTUNE V.S INDUSTRY” on November 19th, and it’s an anthem for Geekers worldwide.
The track doesn’t even give you a chance to take it in before Lucki starts floating and the F1lthy beat has you making a stank face. They are surely a top 3 duo this year. The pristine pairing of Lucki‘s notorious laid-back, nonchalant flows melds perfectly with F1lthy‘s lively beats. He boasts of being a geek boy in the industry, and like all of his tracks, it offers a bit of introspection. As he gets deeper into the industry, rumors and fake love will become much more of the norm.
In its essence, the track is about distrust for those around. He doesn’t trust the industry, fake fans, or even those he calls family. It’s really Tune versus the world.
