This past Thursday, the Daily Chiefers caught up with Daye Jack and Lukas Graham’s at their sold out concert at the Vinyl ATL. Daye Jack, most notable for his project Soul Glitch and his EP with Killer Mike “Hands Up”, was the opener of the Lukas Graham USA tour, and he did a really awesome job curating the vibes in the room.  Not only did Daye Jack build the energy of his fans, but he also made fans of the people who saw him for the first time. He performed my favorite song, “Easy” off of the Soul Glitch tape and you could just see the look on people’s faces when they were surprised at how much they were jamming to Daye Jack’s flow. Once he got off stage he was rushed by fans eager to finally meet him. Daye, being such a cool guy, took pictures and talked to people while Lukas Graham prepared to hit the stage.

This was my first time seeing or even hearing about Lukas Graham so I did not know what I was about to see, but man they were incredible. They are a 4 man Danish band who has won many awards overseas, which I saw why that night. Their music was mainly focused on uplifting people and telling people to enjoy the life they have. Their songs were really catchy, it feels like they play nice Sunday night music to get you ready for the work week ahead. The crowd really went crazy for them at different points in the night, I even saw a woman cry and holding her hands in the air as Lukas Graham performed. Overall, it was an amazing night and I cannot wait to catch Daye Jack or Lukas Graham next time they are in Atlanta.
