Lupe Fiasco, who’s regulated himself to using instagram as his primary means of communication with fans, may have announced an upcoming project or EP today.
Lu uploaded these two photos two his IG without any caption or comment about them.
As of now, I’m positive Pharaoh Height 2/30 is a play on the title of Lupe’s classic mixtape series, Fahrenheit 1:15. Lupe already declared a while back that he’s no longer dropping any mixtapes, so if this is an upcoming project it should be a standard, 5 track EP.
* One more thing of importance, us Lupe fans have been trying to figure out is what CKDD means. (Bottom right corner, first photo). The photo below was posted on Lu’s instagram about 5 months ago, and was taken down within 10 minutes. It has a quote attributed to “CKDD”, but no one could figure out what it stood for. The songs on what appears to be a tracklist Lu’s car CD menu, are demos for the highly anticipated Lu x Soundtrakk album “SKULLS”, which doesn’t have a release date so don’t worry about it now. Also, No one may ever get to hear that “ROTHKO” song, unless Lupe allows it, because it’s worth alot of money. Don’t expect any actual music until after Ramadan, though. Aside from that, use this to theorize what you will, & keep your eyes peeled if interested, because Lupe may be giving out more information sometime soon.
