To my surprise and absolute delight, the full & CDQ version of Stellar Light has finally been released, and it is a monster of a song. This was the anthem for the U.S. Men’s National World Cup 2014 Soccer Team last summer that Lupe was the music director/curator for. The snippet was posted towards the end of the cup and to the dismay of (Lupe’s fans) wasn’t released before team USA was eliminated. This may have surfaced due to the fact that iSHi has an album dropping soon. Aside from that, Lupe GOES IN! The production is great, the hook is lively, and the verses are amazing! Especially the 3rd verse, which gave me a few chills. Wasalu continues to show why he’s top 5 dead or alive when it comes to rapping skills, spitting better on an EDM influenced beat than most rappers can on a traditional Hip-Hop one, even though that sound is being blurred now.
