Since the release of The Cool in 2007, Lupe Fiasco has heard plenty of negative backlash. His albums, Laser… and Food & Liquor II, got tons of negative criticism. Disputes with his label did not help Fiasco gain any ground either, and at some points in time it seemed like he was a prisoner.
However, now it looks like the Chicago emcee has returned to his old self.
