As soon as you press play on Maasho‘s “Strange”, the pace of the video is already frantic. A shaky hand-held camera shot makes its way into a roofless abandoned building and three guys sprint into the frame to retrieve guitars and a drum set. Suddenly, Maasho slides into the shot and begins to sing. “I’m staring at the floor again, did you miss me when I left?” he asks, quickly responding “no you didn’t, no you didn’t.”

The song begins to take shape and despite the upbeat drums and guitar lines and Maasho darting back and forth, the subject matter is nostalgic of an old romance. Throughout the song, Maasho‘s off-the-wall energy captivates the listener and even though he mourns his old fling, there’s something refreshing about the way he approaches a bitter moment in time. This one is special so check out this fire, new visual below!
