Considered to be the quintessential Mac Miller classic amongst fans, K.I.D.S. has garnered a surplus of fans and attention for the up-and-coming star. K.I.D.S. brings back feelings of nostalgia with storytelling and wordplay that reminisces on all the good times that come with the growing pains of the juvenile days. The production – although rather simple, is very laid-back and free-spirited, and meshes well with Mac’s flow. This mixtape is where a lot of the attention (good and bad) escalated, and it’s very solid for a breakout mixtape.
