Watching Movies with the Sound Off, Mac Miller’s second studio album, is further proof that there is no limits to how far Mac will go in terms of experimentation. After taking inspiration from watching films on mute while working in the studio, Mac Miller made this project to give the world and his fans a look at his own introspective view on life.
Despite having a large guest list of producers – Diplo, Clams Casino and Tyler the Creator to name a few, Mac Miller has taken over the project as executive producer under the alias Larry Fisherman. This album was praised for Mac’s progression as an artist, and ‘Watching Movies with the Sound Off’ cemented itself as a classic in psychedelic hip hop.
