Houston has always been a thriving place for hip-hop, and one newcomer that is adding to the area’s mystique is rising emcee/producer MALIK. He has a very specific sounding voice that blends well with his self-production on his latest project, The Principium. It’s an intricate project that starts off smooth and gently digs into MALIK as an artist and person. It comes paired with a game that you can play right off of your iPhone (download HERE). It’s based off of a dream he had, and is illustrated more with the song “Wash It Off” off of TP.
