“After going through a lot of major transitions in life I made this project,” Marc told VIBE. “Leaving my band that I had been in for almost 10 years was a major blow, and the breakup with my girlfriend was tough. I ended up in East Hollywood, staying there for a few months. It’s where I made the best music of my life.”
