For a long time, whenever I got tweeted a link to someone’s music, I would automatically block and/or ignore the person. It’s just annoying, there’s no reason you can’t ask for a submissions email, and frankly it’s become a bit cliché. However, I have learned that while most of them aren’t worth my play on soundcloud, there are always some gems amongst the stones. Now, when the sincerity of an artist shines through, I’m more than likely to give it a spin, and that’s the case with Marques Martin.
