Producer Memory Man links with rapper Edan for this track on his album “Broadcast One”.
I was particularly drawn to this song because of the man putting in work on the verses. Edan, whose Beauty and The Beat album I love, is a rare gem of an artist in Hip-Hop and as of now, has taken an extended break from spitting bars over beats, which I’ll say he does very well.
Every now and then you can find Edan adding a special verse to the project of an artist of his choice. He dropped what I, and others I’ve talked to considered as 2011’s best rap verse on Blu’s “Ronald Morgan”. And if I’m not mistaken the last track he laced was DJ Format’s Spaceship Earth. On this song, you can find Edan spitting about politics, capitalism, philosophy, and religion in only the way he can. And make sure you check out Memory Man’s album.
