Mick Jenkins has released a new song, called Alchemy produced by Lee Bannon. The song serves as the first offering from Mick’s upcoming EP Wave[s]. The lyrics Mick delivers are just as hard hitting as the production from Lee Bannon, and it has me even more on edge for Jenkins’ new music, being that I thoroughly loved The Water[s], and still play it regularly. My personal favorite quote from the song is: “Drinking all this water tryna heal myself..” along with Mick’s feathery harmonization with the instrumental towards the end of the song.
