Mike of Doom is back with another memorable project, aptly titled MICHAEL. The Mayor has been a mainstay of our pages for awhile now, unloading some seriously classic songs and projects over the years. MICHAEL is no different, and is without a doubt one of his most complete projects to date.
From the eclectic array of production to his outside-the-box style and sound, MICHAEL hits on every cylinder, and shows Mike in his most honest light yet. He notes “For years I’ve shared parts of myself with you. Now I’m ready to show you everything,” and he’s right—this project is a deep dive into his creative bounds, as he raps over beats that I wouldn’t have ever guessed he’d go on, and even does some auto-tune singing to boot. Overall it’s a positively experimental project that all pieces together for a wild ride from start to finish, adding up for another quality notch in Mike’s belt.
