Miles Meraki is a favorite of ours here at DC, and for good reason—he’s really fuckin’ good at rapping. He’s long been dropping a wide array of singles, from smoother ballads to absolute bangers, and is back on our pages today with his first-ever project Angels May Die. It’s a 10-track project from Meraki who dolphinately impresses with his piercing verses and smooth crooning. He enlists Cal Rips, Allen Le Grand and warholtheghost for features, who round out the project nicely with their added flavor.
After giving this joint a few listens from cover to cover, it’s clearly a very personal and very much thought-out project from Miles. While he’s encountered some unfortunate hardships to this point in his life, there’s a shining sense of hope and confidence that exudes from these tracks, and that’s really great to me. All in all, this is a very well-done project from Miles, and we definitely look forward to more from him.
