Although the digital era has already begun, streaming totals have never really took off as the main source of income — until now.
According to the RIAA, music streaming earned a total of $1.87 billion while CD sales only earned a grand total $1.85 billion. With technology at an all-time high, it looks like the physical CD has finally taken the back seat. Spotify 1, Physical copies 0.
