The rumors were true… N.E.R.D. is back working on another project and they just dropped the first single, “Lemon” featuring Rihanna. This track is so insane. Rihanna is literally rapping, not singing, yes, rapping for the majority of the track with Pharell murdering the hook. The visual shows Rihanna in a hotel room shaving a woman’s head. The same girl is then shown in a fluorescently lit setting, going ham to Rihanna’s verse, and Pharrel’s hook for the remainder of the visual. Check it out above!
