Fresh off the release of her highly anticipated EP, But You Caint Use My Phone, as well her hilarious and entertaining role as host of the Soul Train Awards, Erykah is still on the move. In a few weeks, Erykah Badu’s indie-drama film, The Land, will premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
It has been confirmed that Mr. Nasir Jones will share a spot with Badu for official producer of the Ohio-based project. While we are unsure if Nas is to premiere any new music, he is set as executive producer of the films soundtrack. The films plot is centered around teenage skateboarders who get caught up in Cleveland’s criminal underworld. Stay tuned for more, “The Land” — which is set to release January 2016.
