Nebu Kiniza Brings Music “Back2lyfe”

Queens, New York is the home to Run-DMC, Q-Tip, Nas and a bunch others incredible emcee’s. A home to many of Hip-Hops most influential and solidified acts. After listening to Back2lyfe a 7 track EP penned and performed by Nebu Kiniza, I might have to add Nebu to my personal list of favorite Queens rappers.

There’s no denying that in the past 5 years the Hip-Hop/Rap scene started to water down the music. Less bars, less messages, less real true emotions in records. However with artists like Nebu who understand the necessity of word play and creating emotions throughout their art I have faith that we’ll be on the right track within a year or 2. In his project Back2lyfe, Nebu shows how much he’s grown since his last tape, From Me 2 Unot only in lyricism but also flow and melodic abilities.

Nebu wasn’t afraid to compete on this tape either, with some serious features like Future, Lil Tecca, Lil Keed, and Young Nudy, Nebu showed up and proved he’s more than ready for the mainstream spotlight. Personally, “Questions”, “Raincoat”, and “Weekend” are my favorites hands down. Those 3 tracks encompass Nebu’s versatility that he showcases throughout the project. Take some time today to listen to the sound of Hip-Hop coming back to like in Nebu Kiniza’s new project Back2lyfe
