With three singles in the Top 20, Fetty Wap has been absolutely killing the game lately. With his forthcoming effort coming September 25th, right in time for the GRAMMY deadline. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Fetty Wap and Lyor Cohen decided to talk about the upcoming effort, why Zoo Wap’s formula has worked, and much more.

“I’m just waiting for it to get mixed and mastered,” Fetty said. He also added his album has been done for two months now.

“He helped me a lot when I was going through stuff, when my grandfather died. He was calling and calling, making sure I was all right, asking me if I need anything. It ain’t how like I be seeing it on TV where they arguing and stuff. We don’t even being going through that, for the most part we don’t even talk about music, he just be telling like ‘Watch myself,’ Lyor talk to me like a mentor.”
