Washington D.C. rapper, Oddisee, shares the socially charged, animated video for his song “You Grew Up.” The video, directed and animated by Belgium based creatives Eugene & Louise, gives perspective into the lives of three different men from three different ethnic backgrounds and how each of their experiences shapes who they grew up to be. In a world where racism is so prevalent, it’s amazing to see how Oddisee is able to grasp the concept that we are all born the same until the world we are brought up in changes and affects what we become. The single is off of Oddisee’s album, The Iceberg, that dropped back in February of this year on Mello Music Group.
