Chicago has been a birthplace of great music since the beginning, but as it grows colder, the music seems to continue getting better. Something about its nature has helped mold many of our favorite artists to date. OG Stevo is clearly set out to make his own impact and add to your list with his new track “Remember Last Night”. “Remember Last Night” is all about the come-up in Stevo’s environment, how fake people can be, and some of the opportunities his rise has brought.
Stevo opens the song singing that he’s “gone tell this b**** a lie before” he “tell the truth” going on to say that he’s been in and out of the loop. With “different b****** hopping in the coop and out the coop”, since the money has come. Mixing all this chaos while admitting to having “popped so much” he “don’t remember sh** from last night”, Stevo has never been afraid to be vulnerable in his music and that’s definitely what’s brought him the organic fan base he’s built so far.
Looking back at “Wedding Ring” from early September last year, Stevo gets a little deeper into some of the things he’s dealt with up to this point. Stevo expressed that with his eyes he’s “done seen many things” and “never gave a b**ch a f****ng wedding ring”. Warning that he “might tell her that” he “love her” but he will “say anything”. Making this a common theme in Stevo’s music. Gotta love some toxicity, listen to “Remember Last Night” below and follow @ogstevo on IG to stay up to date.
