Olawumi is one of our favorites here at DC, and is back with a seriously beautiful ballad.
Her latest blapsterpiece comes in the form of “Alone,” a super dope and soulful record on which Olawumi flexes some killer pipes and songwriting. It’s the perfect introduction to her music if you were previously unfamiliar, as I think it’s some of her best work yet. From the flurry of notes she hits to the story she pieces together from start to finish, “Alone” is one of our favorite tracks of the year already.
