Femcee and songstress Olawumi grabbed my attention around the time of the release of her last EP, NOIR, and impresses me once again with her newest, two-track effort, MANGO. The experimental artist pushes the boundaries of R&B, hip hop & soul, and meshes perfectly with the EP’s production (produced by Cloud Atrium and RecklessG4B). It’s a small taste of Olawumi, but certainly an accurate one. I’m mad excited to see what she comes out with next.
