I haven’t heard someone who has found their sound and aesthetic more that Missouri based artist Oliver Francis. His new video for “hang 10” is very well done, as are his countless other videos. Whoever keeps directing these really knows what looks pleasing to the eye, and really makes the videos fit the chill vibes of the music. Oliver just released a project entitled burnout, which I posted about yesterday.
Really though, Oliver has increasingly become a top 3 favorite underground artist for me. He knows what sounds good, and he’s very versatile over different kinds of beats. He can rock the auto tuned vocals just as well as regular rapping, which is very impressive to me. It just goes to show how well-rounded of an artist he is as whole. Expect big things from Oliver Francis this year.
