Perry Maysun out of New York state has been making noise recently as a great standalone rapper with influences like Earl Sweatshirt, King Krule, and JPEGMAFIA.
This new project sees all types of sounds present like jazz, metal, and house and I think there really is something for anyone on this. I loved “IVYN.” and “Liquid Donuts” the most, but the project is best listened to all the way through. The back half of the project definitely had some Standing on the Corner vibes to it.
