Phora has been one of the illest emcees that the west coast has to offer for awhile now, and is always sure to tackle real issues in his music, not getting caught in the rapper persona side of shit. Plain and simple, the dude keeps it real as fuck.
The latest example of this comes in the form of “Open Letter,” which he just dropped a video for last night. It’s an intense visual that stars a mock Donald Trump, who is then kidnapped and brought to a deserted area where Phora and his armed buddies (including Hopsin) hold him captive until another surprise guest comes in and closes the book on him.
Aside from the great storyline of the video, Phora plain rips this shit with his unmatched energy, sharp imagery and potent lyricism that has brought him to the plateau he’s at today.
