Oh snap! It looks like Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti is officially a major label artist.
After performing “What” with Kanye at his recent pop-up show, rumors started spreading across the Internet that Playboi Carti was signed to GOOD Music — although we later found out that wasn’t true. Last night, during his most recent show, ASAP Rocky revealed that Carti was the newest member of Interscope Records, saying this:
“Listen, this nigga Playboi Carti, man. It’s a good time for this nigga. He Just got signed to Interscope and shit. He ’bout to fuck shit up.”
A few weeks back, Cash Carti also announced that he was working on his debut mixtape, so it looks to be a big year for the Atlanta buzzmaker. Check out the announcement below.
