Atlanta’s own Kris J dropped off a dope visual for his banging new track “Scotty,” and it doesn’t fit the ideal “Atlanta” sound. I like it more than the typical “Atlanta” sound. “Scotty” already drips with swagger without a visual, but add the video in and it’s a beautifully crafted masterpiece.
“Scotty” was produced by ithinkwegotit, and was modeled after the famous Star Trek line, “Beam me up, Scotty.” I like this idea, because it’s symbolic of getting so high to a certain point, that you just don’t feel the stresses of life. I think we all could use that right now, given what’s going on in the world around us combined with all of our own personal problems.
