Today NIKO IS hits our smokey pages once again to premiere a stellar new track of his, this time titled “2088.” It rides a funky, sample-based instrumental with striking drums that carve out a perfect lane for NIKO to lay down some truthful rhymes, touching on various issues in today’s culture.
It goes on to lighten up a bit as it transitions into the instrumental for R. Kelly‘s “Ignition (Remix),” before ending with NIKO rocking out over a third thumpin’ ass beat. “2088” is quite a showing from him, and we here at DC are hella looking forward to what he’s got in store for 2016.
