Ohio artist Ten Diamonds finally releases his highly anticipated 2017 release, Don’t Look At Old Photos with Chiefers. The ten-track EP is very personal and truly does reveal a great deal in terms of Ten’s inspiration. His songwriting has always been superb and he definitely stays true to that sentiment on the latest release. I can say personally that the construction of this project was meticulous and well-thought out. The ethereal and thought-provoking production matches the lyrics and emotion conveyed in Ten’s delivery perfectly. Mewlips has a few credits on the EP, as well as fla.mingo, landfill, Dutchboy, blanc, and many more. The styles switch up throughout as well, although Ten Diamonds is primarily a singer-songwriter, he flexes some rap muscles on “Balance.” The tape boasts only three features, which all make perfect sense; Phantom Caine, Famous Addonis, and Zoe Cartier.
