Q-Tip’s career is as legendary, impactful, and important as an artist can achieve in any genre. Using the most influential form of art worldwide, also known as Hip-Hop, he’s directly and indirectly influenced numerous artists and entertainers that we all love today.
No qualms were felt after hearing the news that he’s been given the title as the First artistic director of Hip-Hop culture for the Kennedy Center. He’s created a program that celebrates traditions throughout the culture which includes live remix performances, teach-ins, workshops and more.
