I am not sure Raz Simone is aware that he just dropped a full length album just two months ago. The visual for “Same Problems” is his 4th premiere in two weeks for the conceptual EP Macklemore Privilege & Chief on Keef Violence that will be available March 3rd. Although his last two project Cognitive Dissonance Part 1 & 2 lacked anything resembling a feature, for this cut Raz taps Seattle emcees Gifted Gab and Fatal Lucciauno for some honest bars over the Jake Crocker instrumental laced with guitar from Brian “Warmgun” Chin. Raz is delivering nothing but home runs on these recent offerings that are tapping into some of the lesser talked about aspects of modern hip-hop. Introspection through the lens of social commentary is vital to the culture, and Raz is doing it better than most right now.
