Remember Reg? I wrote about dude last week because I was blown away by his single “handshakes” featuring GINI. Thank goodness I didn’t have to wait much longer to hear his full length debut.
This thing is very coherent, yet all over the place. Every track distinctly different than the last, but where Reg seems to truly thrive is the slower paced beats throughout the album where his delivery and energy has to work overtime.
This album feels like when I gained consciousness at the age of 5 when I had the honor of seeing LeBron score 25 points straight. Absolutely misses from Reg here.
I highly recommend this album if you like Freddie Gibbs, JPEGMAFIA, or any member of Griselda. This thing fucks. I rarely say something has no misses, but take this from me. I MEAN IT!!! Listen to this thing right now. Immediately.
