It’s been such an interesting year for music. We’ve seen genres such as rage and pluggnb rise to the top of the charts along with newer, refreshing sounds such as Jersey club. One sound that I can’t exactly pinpoint is one that I’ve been familiarized with from Dom Corleo and his producer 16teen, who has been notorious for sampling hit songs such as “Ginseng Strip” by Yung Lean, adding the infamous Mimo 808.
With this sound being everywhere on my FYP on TikTok, I was introduced to an artist by the name of Remi Zerxes, who in collaboration with lucidbeatz, composed a catchy tune while sampling Future’s iconic single “Solo.” Remi does a superb job separating himself from the rest of the artists using this sound, having a unique mix, and maneuvering his flow to create a catchy hook. With the buzz that Remi has earned himself on TikTok, there’s no doubt that his fan base will grow even bigger and garner the attention he deserves. This song is a must-listen from start to finish, especially if you enjoy Future’s music as well.
