A common misconception within the top brasses of the music industry is that Hip-Hop has little-to-no substance outside of the “conscious rappers.” While the backpack cats will always hold us down, the Emo Rap community — spearheaded by the late Lil’ Peep — have taken the torch of rapping with substance, only with a twist. Produced by Christophr, “Moods” is a somber, yet uniquely enjoyable track that embodies the current Emo Rap wave to the fullest.
